Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  2. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough. Layer mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil on the unbuttered side of one slice. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and season.
  3. Preheat skillet over medium heat. Grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the sandwich and grill the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted.
