- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium-sized pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add finely diced onions and minced garlic, sautéing for 4-5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed onions and garlic with your sausage meat and seasonings, mixing well.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut into rectangles approximately 4 inches wide.
- Place a generous spoonful of filling onto one half of each pastry rectangle and fold over, sealing the edges.
- Make vent holes on top of each roll and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly on a wire rack and serve warm.
