Dough Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine your brioche dough ingredients and knead for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in volume.
Filling Preparation
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, warm the apple pie filling along with brown sugar and ground cinnamon for 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
Roll Out Dough
- Punch the risen dough down lightly and turn it out onto a floured surface.
- Roll it into a rectangle about 12x15 inches in size.
- Spread the warm apple filling evenly over the dough and sprinkle with toasted pecans.
Form Rolls
- Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.
- Pinch the seam to seal and cut into 1¼-inch sections.
Second Rise
- Place the sliced rolls in a greased baking dish and cover with a towel.
- Allow to rise for another 30-60 minutes.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Frosting
- Allow the rolls to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
- Frost each roll with cream cheese frosting while still warm.
