  • 1/2 cup Toasted Pecans Omit for a nut-free version.
Frosting
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Neufchâtel cheese can be used for a lighter option.
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar Adjust for desired sweetness.

Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine your brioche dough ingredients and knead for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  2. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in volume.
Filling Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, warm the apple pie filling along with brown sugar and ground cinnamon for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
Roll Out Dough
  1. Punch the risen dough down lightly and turn it out onto a floured surface.
  2. Roll it into a rectangle about 12x15 inches in size.
  3. Spread the warm apple filling evenly over the dough and sprinkle with toasted pecans.
Form Rolls
  1. Starting from one long edge, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  2. Pinch the seam to seal and cut into 1¼-inch sections.
Second Rise
  1. Place the sliced rolls in a greased baking dish and cover with a towel.
  2. Allow to rise for another 30-60 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Frosting
  1. Allow the rolls to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  2. Frost each roll with cream cheese frosting while still warm.
