Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the meats by heating oil in a skillet, adding ground beef and sausage, cooking for 5-7 minutes, and draining excess fat.
  2. Prepare carrots by slicing into thick rounds and using a cookie cutter to cut out pumpkin shapes.
  3. Combine browned meats, pumpkin-shaped carrots, diced potatoes, celery, leeks, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker. Add soups, water, and broth, stirring gently.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 8 hours.
  5. Add skull-cut mushrooms about 10 minutes before serving, stirring gently.
  6. Garnish with parsley or thyme before serving, and consider using mini pumpkin-shaped bowls.
