Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice flank steak into thin strips against the grain. Combine with soy sauce and cornstarch and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a large wok over medium-high heat. Sauté sliced onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Increase heat to high and add marinated beef strips. Sear for 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar with garlic and ginger in a small bowl. Stir well.
  5. Add sliced bell peppers and sauce mixture to the wok. Cook for 2-3 minutes until peppers are tender.
  6. Serve the dish over steamed jasmine rice or alongside crispy noodles.
