For the Steak
  • 1 lb Steak (Ribeye/Sirloin/Filet Mignon) Can substitute with pork or chicken.
For Cooking
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil Also can use butter for added richness.
For Seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Alfredo Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Butter A vegan alternative may be used.
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic Sauté gently to avoid burning.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Can use half-and-half or whole milk for a lighter version.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Grana Padano or nutritional yeast can be dairy-free substitutes.

Method
 

Cooking Process
  1. Boil salted water in a large pot, add shell pasta, and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente.
  2. Pat the steak dry, season with salt and pepper, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add steak bites, and sear for 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Reduce heat, add butter and minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and let it thicken for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Combine drained pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
  8. Serve pasta topped with steak bites and garnish with parsley if desired.
