Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (225°C) and place a 9-inch cast iron skillet inside for about 8 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine whole milk, all-purpose flour, large eggs, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Carefully remove the hot skillet and add butter to melt and bubble for 30–60 seconds.
  4. Pour the batter into the hot skillet, then scatter fresh mozzarella and crispy prosciutto on top.
  5. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  6. Toss fresh arugula with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  7. Remove the Dutch baby from the oven, top with dressed arugula, slice, and enjoy.
