Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern, about 1/4 inch deep.
  3. Combine the glaze ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and heat until warm.
  4. Prepare a baking dish with enough water to cover the bottom.
  5. Generously brush the warm glaze over the ham and cover tightly with foil.
  6. Bake for approximately 15 minutes per pound (about 1 hour and 45 minutes for a 7-pound ham).
  7. Baste the ham with pan juices after 45 minutes and return uncovered to the oven.
  8. Continue baking for another 30-45 minutes, basting every 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the cloves and let the ham rest before slicing.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite side dishes.
