Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil until shimmering.
  2. Season salmon fillets liberally with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side up in the skillet and let cook undisturbed for about 5 minutes.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes until opaque.
  5. Remove the salmon from the skillet and tent with foil to keep warm.
  6. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter, and let it melt.
  7. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Stir in lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste, allowing the flavors to meld.
  9. Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over it.
  10. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the salmon and serve immediately.
