Step-by-Step Instructions for Italian Burger with Crispy Prosciutto
  1. Fry prosciutto in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until crispy and golden-brown. Set aside on paper towel.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté thinly sliced onions for 5 minutes until soft and translucent.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, dehydrated onion, balsamic vinegar, kosher salt, and garlic powder. Mix gently and form into four patties.
  4. Cook patties in the skillet for 3 minutes per side, adding mozzarella slice on top and covering for 1-2 minutes to melt.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together light mayo, lemon juice, garlic, and basil until smooth. Adjust salt to taste.
  6. Spread aioli on ciabatta roll, add patty with melted mozzarella, crispy prosciutto, sautéed onions, and arugula. Top with other roll half.
