Ingredients

For the Wrap
  • 4 pieces Tortillas Use whole grain for added fiber and nutrition.
For the Filling
  • 1 pound Ground beef or turkey A great source of protein; plant-based meat works well for a vegetarian version.
  • 4 slices Cheese (American or cheddar) Adds a rich creaminess; swap for dairy-free cheese if preferred.
  • 2 cups Lettuce Freshness and crunch are key; any leafy green can substitute nicely.
  • 1 large Tomato Provides juiciness; make sure to choose ripe tomatoes for the best flavor.
  • 1 small Onion Enhances flavor; use red onion for a milder taste that complements the wrap.
For the Special Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise The creamy base for your sauce; low-fat mayo can lighten it up.
  • 2 tablespoons Relish Adds a sweet and tangy kick; it’s a must for that classic Big Mac taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard Brings a zesty flavor; feel free to adjust to your liking!

Equipment

  • large skillet
  • mixing bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of relish, and 1 tablespoon of mustard. Stir until well-blended and creamy. Set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 pound of ground beef or turkey. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
  3. Lay tortillas flat and layer with cooked meat, followed by a slice of cheese, chopped lettuce, slices of tomato, and onion.
  4. Drizzle special sauce over the layered toppings in each wrap and spread it evenly.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and then roll tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling completely.
  6. Cut the wraps in half diagonally for easy eating and serve immediately, or wrap in foil for later.
