Method
 

Preparing the Chicken

  4. Sear the chicken in the same skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Reduce heat, coat chicken with BBQ sauce, and sprinkle cheddar over the top.
  6. Add crumbled bacon on top, then transfer to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Let rest, garnish with green onions and optional red pepper flakes, slice, and serve.
