  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder or fresh onion
For the BBQ Flavor
  • ½ cup BBQ Sauce choose your favorite style
Seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken, and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Shred the chicken after resting a few minutes.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook according to package instructions for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and whisk in flour for about 1 minute. Gradually add milk, whisk until thickened, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat and stir in cheddar and mozzarella cheese until melted. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine shredded chicken and cooked macaroni with cheese sauce in the saucepan. Mix in BBQ sauce until well coated.
  6. Serve hot, optionally drizzled with additional BBQ sauce or garnished with fresh herbs.
