Prepare the Crust
- Crush 2 cups of vanilla wafers until fine crumbs. Mix with ⅓ cup melted butter. Press into a 9-inch springform pan and chill for 30 minutes.
Mix the Filling
- Beat 8 oz of cream cheese until creamy. Gradually add 1 cup sweetened condensed milk and blend until smooth. Mix in 1 package of instant banana pudding until thickened.
Incorporate Whipped Cream
- Whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into the banana pudding mixture.
Assemble the Cheesecake
- Pour filling over chilled crust. Smooth the top and cover. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
Serve
- Remove sides of the springform pan. Garnish with whipped cream and banana slices. Serve chilled.
