- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without completely separating them.
- Generously spread softened butter on the cut sides of both halves of the Hawaiian rolls.
- Evenly distribute the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on the bottom half of the rolls.
- Gently place the top half of the rolls back onto the cheese base.
- Wrap the assembled sandwich tightly in aluminum foil.
- Place the foil-wrapped rolls in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Unwrap the foil and place the rolls back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes to crisp the crust.
- Remove the rolls from the oven and slice them into individual portions.
