- Start by placing the frozen meatballs in the bottom of your slow cooker, spreading them out evenly.
- Take a medium onion and slice it thinly. Layer the onion slices over the meatballs.
- Pour the canned French onion soup over the meatballs and onions, completely covering them.
- Evenly sprinkle the Lipton French Onion Soup Mix over the entire mixture.
- Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once cooking time is up, sprinkle shredded cheese over the top of the meatballs.
- Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the heat to melt the cheese.
- Spoon the meatballs and sauce over mashed potatoes, rice, or toasted hoagie rolls to serve.
