- In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat and add the lean ground beef. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the beef is browned and no longer pink.
- Once the beef is browned, add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, orange juice, brown sugar, toasted sesame oil, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef, stir well, and simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- Meanwhile, steam the broccoli for 3–4 minutes until crisp-tender and bright green.
- To serve, place rice on plates, top with beef mixture, and add steamed broccoli on the side.
- Finally, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before enjoying.
