Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and 1½ cups of cheddar cheese along with the chopped onions, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the frozen diced hash browns and sliced kielbasa into the creamy mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the potato and kielbasa mixture into your prepared baking dish, pressing it down slightly.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Mix melted butter with crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers and sprinkle evenly over the cheese topping.
