Cooking Steps
- Start by heating a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Spray a light coat of olive oil into the pan, then add the lean ground beef, cooking for about 5 minutes.
- Once the beef is browned, stir in the chopped pepperoni along with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried oregano. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Next, add the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste to the beef mixture. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Once the filling has cooled slightly, prepare your wraps and spoon a proper amount of the beef and pepperoni mixture in the center.
- To form the rolls, fold the sides of each wrap over the filling, roll tightly from the bottom, and seal with a dab of water.
- Spray the tops lightly with olive oil. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and bake or air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the rolls to cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy them with your favorite dipping sauce.
