Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a 10×15-inch baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the baking sheet, covering the entire surface.
  3. Melt 1 cup of butter in a saucepan, stir in 1 cup of brown sugar, and bring to a rolling boil. Stir for 3 minutes until smooth.
  4. Pour the toffee over the crackers and spread evenly. Bake for 5 minutes until bubbly.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let sit for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  6. Spread the melted chocolate into an even layer over the toffee.
