  4. Add the green chiles, chili powder, cumin, and smoked paprika; stir well for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add the sautéed potatoes back to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until fully tender.
  6. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, cover, and let sit for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro if desired and serve hot.
