  • 1 cup Confectioners Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Heat-Treated Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 300°F and heat treat 1 cup of all-purpose flour by spreading it on a baking sheet for 5-8 minutes.

  3. Incorporate heated flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until cohesive dough forms.
  4. Portion dough into balls of roughly 0.7-0.8 ounces and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake cookies for 8-10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
  6. Beat softened butter and confectioners sugar until fluffy. Add heat-treated flour and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  7. Spread buttercream on one cookie, top with another cookie to form sandwiches.
