Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your oven-safe skillet.
  2. Season both sides of chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, and let rest.
  3. Prepare dredging stations with flour, egg wash, and breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Coat the chicken first in flour, then dip in egg, and finally press into breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat, sear chicken for 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer skillet to oven and bake chicken for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  7. While chicken bakes, melt butter in a separate saucepan and sauté minced garlic.
  8. Whisk in flour to create a roux, then add broth and cream, whisking until thickened.
  9. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Plate chicken, ladle sauce over, and garnish with chopped parsley.
