- Sauté aromatics by heating vegetable oil in a skillet and cooking chopped onion until translucent.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
- Stir in chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in tomato sauce and shredded cheese, and remove from heat.
- Warm corn tortillas until pliable, then place 2 tablespoons of filling on each and roll tightly.
- Cook in hot oil for frying, or bake in a preheated oven until golden brown.
- Serve hot with your favorite dips.
