Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté chicken in olive oil over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and herbs for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Sauté minced garlic in the skillet until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes to the skillet, bring to a simmer, and let thicken for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is creamy.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and let it simmer with the sauce for a couple of minutes.
  7. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly with the sauce.
  8. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the pasta, stirring until melted.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and red pepper flakes.
