  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high, add ground beef, and cook until browned, about 7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Lower the heat to medium, stir in heavy cream, and add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
