Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Soak fresh breadcrumbs with milk in a small bowl for 5 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, soaked breadcrumbs, minced onion, garlic, fresh sage, Italian seasoning, eggs, and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Roll the mixture into uniform meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  5. Add the meatballs to the preheated skillet and sear them for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Reduce heat to low and add canned pumpkin puree, heavy cream, and additional fresh sage to the skillet.
  7. Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer them in the pumpkin sage sauce for 3-4 minutes.
