Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, drizzle olive oil over medium heat. Add shredded chicken, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until heated through.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, marinara sauce, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, and the sautéed chicken mixture. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Pour the combined mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top. Cover with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes covered. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let the casserole cool for 5-10 minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped basil or parsley before serving.
