Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of creamy cottage cheese, ½ cup of marinara sauce, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella, 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, and ½ teaspoon of garlic powder. Stir these ingredients together until smoothly blended.
  2. Microwave the sauce mixture on high for 1 minute, stirring halfway through. The mixture should be warm and creamy in texture.
  3. While the sauce is heating, take your air-fried chicken nuggets and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Once the sauce is heated, add the chopped chicken nuggets to the bowl and gently stir until evenly coated.
  5. Return the chicken and sauce mixture to the microwave for an additional 30 seconds. If the cheese isn’t fully melted, give it another 10 seconds.
  6. Remove from the microwave and give it a quick stir. Serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs and paired with pasta or rice.

Avoid overcooking chicken nuggets. Warm cottage cheese mixes better. Incorporate mozzarella at the end for a creamy texture.
