Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Trim and rinse fresh green beans, then pat dry with a clean towel.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Fold the trimmed green beans into the creamy mixture until well-coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a 1.5 to 2-quart baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle half of the French’s fried onions on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbling.
  8. Remove casserole, add the remaining fried onions on top, and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
  9. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
